After uncharacteristic weather in the 80’s last week, our temperatures are finally dropping and it’s beginning to look and feel like fall here in the Northwest. Every once in a while, I’ll have the urge to get dressed up…but I think this is going to be the season of mostly sweaters & jeans for me. Today I’m sharing three comfortable fall outfits featuring a new-to-me store that I’m so excited to introduce you to!
UpWest is a brand that is on a mission to redefine comfort – they are dedicated to “conscious comfort” with a focus on sourcing sustainable fabrics and everything they sell are the kind of pieces you’ll want to live in. They’re also committed to giving back to local communities by regularly donating a portion of their proceeds to those in need, which is something I love to see retail organizations doing.
If you’ve been following me for a while, you know that I’m pretty picky about who I partner with and it’s not often that a new company catches my eye. But I have been so impressed with their vision, customer service and the quality of their products…so I know you will be too! Right now they are offering 20% off their new fall arrivals + free shipping at $50 – read on to see how I styled my top picks from their site & check out more of my favorites in the scrolling bar below.
Has there ever been a more perfect sweater for fall than this one?! I think not. This is definitely my favorite piece that they sent me. I think the rust hue is so gorgeous & I just love the mix of textures. You could also wear this with blue or black jeans, but I’m a big fan of the contrast with ivory denim & cognac accents. This has a slightly boxy, oversized fit, so I recommend sizing down – it also comes in grey & oatmeal if this isn’t your color.
What I’m wearing:
c/o UpWest Bobble Sweater,
Gap Jeans (similar here, here or here),
Similar Boots, Shashi Headband, Similar Bag,
Similar Earrings, Sojos Sunglasses
This cropped cardigan is perfect for wearing with high-waisted jeans (pretty much all I own these days!) and it looks just as cute unbuttoned. This runs true to size & also comes in a pretty oatmeal heather if soft neutrals are more your thing. I layered it over this ribbed tank, which comes in 7 different colors and is a Tencel blend that is literally the softest fabric I’ve ever worn. After I put it on, I immediately ordered two more in black & ivory because it’s all I want to wear under jackets & cardigans from now on (also great for just lounging around the house in).
What I’m wearing:
c/o UpWest Crop Cardigan, c/o UpWest Layering Tank,
Similar Jeans, Similar Bag, c/o UpWest Leopard Scarf,
Express Mules, Express Hoops, J. Crew Necklace,
Rings: Brook & York & Amazon, Sojos Sunglasses
This is just an easy weekend look – a simple combination of comfy basics that you can throw on for coffee, running errands, picking up groceries or walking the dog. This cozy v-neck sweater is the kind that you can wear with sweats or leggings at home, but is instantly elevated when you add a structured jacket (think denim or utility). This has a generous fit, so I recommend sizing down – and it also comes in the prettiest rust hue if you want to inject more fall color into your wardrobe.
What I’m wearing:
Madewell Jacket, c/o UpWest V-Neck Sweater,
Gap Jeans, Similar sneakers (here or here),
Similar Bag, J. Crew Necklace
