Welcome to Style Diaries, a new series where we research the physical manifestations of our closet tours IRL. We're asking friends and tastemakers to show us what they're *actually* wearing during the week and to provide a little insight into their thoughts on the current state of fashion. This week we are speaking with Lisa Says Gah founder Lisa Bühler. At eight months pregnant, Bühler is subscribing to many of the same manifestos we all felt throughout the pandemic, striking a balance between comfort and sophistication while still having a little fun.
What does your style *actually* look like right now?
"It's quarantine-meets-pregnancy, which might look the same. I'm living in stretchy fabrics and dressing up the shoes and accessories to feel more put-together."
Day 1:
"Our latest ribbed set on LSG, this fabric is a nice weight and molds to your body. It's a set where once you have one, you need every color. Paired with a pair of Paloma Wool kitten heels and a Hai silk purse, this outfit makes me feel ultra confident and comfortable. Toning everything down with a blazer makes it suitable for a night out, and I love the exposed belly. And then, straight to bed."

Do you have a go-to outfit formula, or do you prefer to switch it up when getting dressed?
"Start with the clothing, and layer from there. Living in San Francisco equals layers, always."
Day 2:
"The ruching down the front makes room for the growing belly, paired with very comfy mules and a cute li'l jelly bag. This outfit makes me feel like a burst of sunshine, which is a welcome feeling post-quarantine. I wore this look to visit the L.A. office and was comfy all day in the breathable, organic cotton material."

What energy are you bringing to your ensembles this summer? What are you looking forward to wearing?
"Color, pattern, and texture. Unexpected accessories like playful jewelry and mini bags."
Day 3:
"This is a cottage-core look in full effect, with a vintage Celine scarf and About Arianne shoes. This outfit makes me feel dreamy and sophisticated. I wore this look for a lunch date with a friend."
