32 Spring Shoes to Style with Everything

From September through March, I live in combat boots. They unapologetically complete every outfit in my closet for approximately 200+ days a year. Perhaps it’s because function becomes synonymous with fashion throughout the fall/winter seasons–the best cold weather shoes are just warm and effortless. As the warmer days of spring push the hemlines of my skirts, the sun kicks my combat boots to the curb. So, every year around this time, I’m barefoot until I do something about it. Enter: The Spring Shoe Edit.

Spring separates and shorts show off more skin. As a result, our spring styles showcase more of our shoes. So, chunky block heels and slip-ons are back–but this year, they’re even better. Shoe trends of the moment are equal parts retro and comfy, and I’m thrilled to be one of a million millennials in Mary Janes.

While the most common spring shoes on your Instagram feed might be slides, by mid-April the streets are also filled with lighter boots, sneakers, and skin-baring slingbacks. So, here we rounded up 32 of the best clogs to ballet flats and everything in between.

Spring Boots

These aren’t the boots you bounced around in all winter. From naturals to denim, these styles scream spring. Since you’re starting to say yes to soirées after work, they’re practical too. Think: thick heels, rubberized soles, and memory foam.

Chuck 70 De Luxe Heel

This isn’t a drill. Yes, these are the classic Converse Chucks you come back to every spring–but, now they have height with an understated off-white.

Rouxa Denim Ankle Boots

I dream of denim throughout the year but these are the trending accents of the season. They’re begging to be styled with a maxi skirt.

Betty PVC Short Rain Boots

April showers bring May flowers and call for Chloe. These short rain boots are everything.

The Kate Boot

This pair of shoes proves that you don’t need to choose between vanilla ice cream or vanilla boots. They’re amazing and worthy of the real-estate that they take up to your knees before the weather is too hot to handle.

Spring Sneakers

I’d wear sneakers on every single day of the year, but these seamlessly pair with any spring ensemble. Whether you’re looking for open-toe sneaks or vibrant white high-tops, start your spring sneaker search here.

Vibe Twist Slide Platform Sandals

Part sneaker, part slide, and all-around epic. Sorel slays the spring style game with these versatile sandals.

Downtown Leather Sneaker Slides

This is the hottest slip-on sneaker that I’ve ever seen. Luckily, they will match absolutely everything.

650 Leather High-top Sneakers

I wore all-white high-tops to my wedding, but these can take denim cut-offs to the next level too. Call me casual, but I’d wear them with anything.

Dunk Hi 1985 Sneakers

Here are your classic Nike dunks with a seasonal denim accent. These will end up being a spring best-seller too.

Spring Heels

Whether it's a skyscraper or a kitten heel that you’re after, this is the it-list. If you’re looking to level-up your look, these spring shoes will take you to new heights.

Maysil Suede Buckle Slingback Pumps

If slingbacks were soulmates, this would definitely be mine. In other words, I don’t even have to try these on before uttering the words, Marry me, Manolo.

Forma Leather Platform Mules

If you’d rather marry a peep-toe, turn to Proenza Schouler. These platform mules were made for spring.

Cornwall Check Leather Sandals

A heritage print that parades as a neutral? Check. These Burberry leather sandals will fit every spring look you own.

Padded 90 Leather Slingback Sandals

Between the shoes I’m throwing on and lusting after, there are these. This is arguably the investment pair of the season.

Spring Loafers

There’s something undeniably sexy about a bare ankle in a gender-neutral shoe. Luckily, these spring shoes all rock without socks.

Kate Leather Loafers

I’ll be leaning into these loafers until further notice. I’ve never met a pair of Tods that didn’t keep me on my toes. They are insanely comfortable and always chic.

Chany Leather Slippers

Another pair of loafers that I wouldn’t let slide? These See by Chloe slippers. They’re so good.

Champlain Leather Loafers

This is a pointed-toe option that’s easy to dress up or down. It would carry you from your commute to your cocktail date after work.

The Light Loafers

A classic black pair of loafers set apart with a subtle hardware detail? I’m sold from spring into summer.

Spring Sandals

From strappy barely-there slides to classic staples featuring heritage luxury emblems, these are the spring sandals of the moment.

Chocolate Leather Slides

These are unbranded and chic in an understated way. I might need one pair in every color.

Oran Sandal

On the other hand, these are the sandals that everyone wants right now. I love them in black.

Gemma Leather Sandals

The sexiest pair of sandals that I own? Tkees. They have a ‘barely there’ presence that I love and they’re also a steal– the pricetag turns my husband on.

GG Cut-Out Leather Slides

This is another luxury staple that every style-savant needs this spring.

Spring Espadrilles

A casual closet staple gets an upgrade this spring. This season, I’m seeing more designers take on Espadrilles than ever before.

Tessuto FF Monogram Espadrilles

I’d structure a spring fit around these Fendi’s any day. They’re a must.

Dahlia Suede Espadrille Wedge Sandals

It’s a wedge-heeled thong sandal and an espadrille in one. In other words, you might need it now.

Monogram Espadrilles

A subtle Saint Laurent monogram gives this pair of espadrilles just the right flex. They’re still versatile enough to pair with everything in your spring wardrobe.

Rockstud Espadrille Sandals

Honestly, I need these. They’re subtly studded but expertly woven power platforms that will match every denim, white, and neutral in my wardrobe this season.

Spring Ballet Flats

I can’t dance, but I will literally prance around the city in ballet flats. Here are a few pairs of shoes that will put a spring into your step this season.

T-strap Flats

These T Strap flats prove that even the most low-key spring staples don’t have to be basic.

Saeda Crystal-embellished Patent-leather Ballet Flats

Sometimes I break up with heels for a few weeks, even for special occasions. Enter: Jimmy Choo Saeda Crystal Embellished Ballet Flats. I’d wear them to the Opera–that is, of course, if I ever get to go.

Naplack Buckle Slingback Mules

These Ganni’s are so good. These buckles are begging to go out.

Michaela Leather Buckle Mary Janes

Sam Edelman’s Mary Janes offer classic style at an unbeatable price. These would tie together everything from cropped jeans to spring dresses.

Spring Clog

No, it’s not 1973,but the season still calls for clogs. Here are a few seriously fresh iterations of a spring classic.

Bose Clogs

This might be the clog for me. It’s a style chameleon that can be a mule or a platform in your rotation too. I love it.

Clogge Platform Clogs

At $60, there’s no excuse not to try the trend. I’d buy them in the color “sea salt,” but wear them miles away from the beach.

Aurna Denim Studded Clogs

Chloe did it again. This time, in denim. Add these to your cart now and apologize to your wallet later.

Thalie Leather Clogs

If this season has taught us anything, it’s that wooden soles and studded details are back. Luckily, these clogs are too.

Now, if you’ve already stocked your shoe closet for spring, shop these for summer.
